You have written a good summary and I like the Character information you have provided, next time you could add in evidence (quotes) from the text to back up what you are saying about the characters. With your personal response you have started to make connections using text to text, but I did expect you to do text to self and text to the world. Can you please add these in for this reading log. In your next reading log I want you to develop your making connections by adding in more detail and evidence about your connections. For instance with your text to text I would expect you to be able to name the book and say why you think the books are the same and give evidence from the books to back up what you are saying.
